Box 31-191 contains 3 baby blankets and 1 material sample of baby blanket fabric. All samples are woven in basket weave structures of wool yarns. Each blanket has a white centerfield, a wide pink border, and an inner border of thin blue and pink accent threads that run parallel to the pink border. Two of these blankets have cuts of fabric taken out of them. The material sample is constructed from peachy pink weft and warp yarns. The stripes have supplementary weft yarns in white, blue, and pink threads, which are mixed with high sheen white rayon threads. Three layette samples, style 900, patterns 6 and 7, are white with border stripes in yellow, purple, and green. Two samples of baby blanket yardage are woven in whig rose variants in blue and white yarns. All samples are either identified with a tied-on paper tag or stapled cardboard product tag.
