Two material samples of scarf or muffler fabric are woven in two warp color and plain weave structures of wool. The weave structure is a plain weave and the pattern consists of brown and tan warp yarns and stripes at the short ends. Stripes are various widths and colors that include dark burgundy, pale brown, tan, dark green, green, light gray, red, and dark blue. The sample has stitched edges along the length and raw short ends. A circular sticker label is stapled to the fabrics.

Six samples are woven in basket weave structures of brown and tan warp and weft wool yarns with pattern stripes of varying widths in dark green, brown, red, and white.
