This is a silver pitcher commissioned for the completion of the new Kentucky state capitol building. There is an image of the capitol engraved on the front. There is a floral design embossed around the rim and around the middle of the pitcher.

This is an official Christmas card that was sent out by Earle C. Clements, Kentucky's 47th Governor. The front of the card features a black and white photo of the capitol building lit with lights at night. Underneath the photo, in black text, is typed, "KENTUCKY STATE CAPITOL AT NIGHT." The right edge has been intentionally tattered as part of the card's design. The inside left page of the card has a bouquet of 3 red poinsettas. The inside right page of the card has centered black text reading, "With very best wishes / for Christmas and the New Year / Governor and Mrs. Earle C. Clements." The back is blank.

This is an official Christmas card from Governor Lawrence W. Wetherby. The front of the card has a gray outline of the capitol building in the background. Also in the background are a couple of barren trees, drawn to the right and left of the capitol. In the foreground is a male cardinal facing right, sitting on a snow-covered evergreen branch. On the inside left of the card, centered, is another picture of a right-facing male cardinal, this time on a barren branch. On the inside right of the card, in black text, is written, "With very best wishes / for Christmas and the New Year / Governor and Mrs. Lawrence Wetherby."

This preliminary sketch/study is captioned "Study for Boone/'Treaty of Wautauga'/Kentucky State Capitol/Frankfort, KY/T. Gilbert White." It shows the central figure of Daniel Boone dressed in buckskins and holding a rifle. There is an unknown man in a cocked hat along with a cloaked Richard Henderson. In front of him is an unknown man in frontier garb. On the right side of the image is Oconostota, chief of the Cherokees. His right arm is extended and he is pointing at Boone and his companions. Oconostota is wearing a breechcloth and his head is shaved except for a braid falling from the top of his head. Behind him sitting on the ground are several other Native Americans.

This is a circular celluloid process political button for the gubernatorial inauguration of Brereton Jones in 1991. The button has a white background with a flag motif of red and white stripes and a superimposed Capitol dome in dark blue. There is dark blue lettering under the dome that reads "INAUGURATION" above a row of five white stars on blue. "1991" in larger outline is followed by "GOVERNOR/ BRERETON C. JONES" also in dark blue. A safety pin closure is attached to the back of the button.

The majority of the card is taken up by a centered black and white photo of the capitol surrounded by snow-covered trees and bushes. Below the photo, in black, are the words, "HAPPY GREETINGS OF THE SEASON," bordered on the left and right by holly leaves. The inside right page of the card reads, "Mr. and Mrs. Earle C. Clements" in black text. The back of the card continues the gold double-lined border.

This is a square incised brushed gold toned metal political pin for the inauguration of Governor Brereton Jones in 1991. The pin has an image of the capitol dome in front of red wavy stripes. There is dark blue and red lettering that reads "KENTUCK/ INAUGURATION/ 1991/ GOVERNOR/ BRERETON C. JONES." Beneath the word "inauguration" is a band of blue with five stars. "1991" is outlined in red. There is a clasp back pin adhered to the back.

This is a wood plane with a 5/16" flat blade, wooden handle, steel vertical guide, and removable wooden horizontal guide. It is stamped "Woodruff/&/McBride/Louisville, Ky./Warranted/ T. M. High" on the front edge and "A. Robertson" on the back edge.
