This is a Gothic arch shaped flat iron stand. It is cast iron with a lacy open work design in center. The center design looks like a stylized "H". The piece has three feet and a heavy scalloped rim. The surface also has two countersunk holes.

This blue silk dress has a front closure with no visible fasteners. The bodice is attached to the waistband of the skirt and the waistband appears to be unfinished. The dress has dropped sleeves with a puff at each shoulder. The sleeve is fitted at the puff and bellows out. The sleeves are finished with a turned cuff that has a wide patterned section with a black floral band with orange flowers bordered by rows of black zig zags and blue flowers above the orange. A similar embellishment is at the neckline and goes from the waistband on both sides of the closure around the neckline to form a collar. The pattern at the neckline has two bands of the black ribbon with orange flowers and two rows

An embroidered shawl with scalloped edges and a triangular floral embroidery in one corner. The corner embroidery pictures ribboned bouquet and horseshoe-like shaped ribbons.

This is a man's navy blue smoking jacket. It has a shawl collar that is trimmed with cording. The cording extends down the front and is also around the cuffs. The collar, cuffs and pockets all have a plaid trim. The jacket is lined with the same blue, black and green plaid. There are three patch pockets. One on the left breast and two on the skirt.
