Description This rosewood Rococo Revival sofa has a simplified camel-back with light wood carvings at the crest and at the edges. The front skirt has a heavier carved wood trim. There are four fluted and turned legs on the front and two in the back. The sofa is upholstered in a red damask fabric.
Notes This sofa is part of fourteen piece parlour set used at 'Liberty Hall' in Frankfort, Kentucky. It was originally purchased in New Orleans by the Brown family.
