Description This is a wooden clamp. There is a wooden bar with fifteen notches on one side and twelve on the opposite. It has an adjustable wooden jaw which slides along bar. There is a steel bracket on the jaw which locks into the notches on the bar;. The jaw on the end of the bar is fixed with wire nails through an open mortise. The screw through the jaw tightens the clamp once the adjustable jaw is fixed in a notch.
Notes Collected by the donor from antique stores, barns, etc. in southern Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky over the last thirty years.
