Description This is a six pack of water in metal cans. This is a campaign product from Barry Goldwater's 1964 presidential campaign. The cans are green and white with gold trim. The cardboard case is green and white and has the text "GOLD/WATER/THE RIGHT DRINK FOR THE/CONSERVATIVE TASTE."
Notes Barry Goldwater was the Republican nominee for president in 1964. He lost to incumbent Democrat Lyndon Johnson. The donor worked in the local presidential campaigns of Nelson Rockefeller and Eugene McCarthy in Louisville. He collected political campaign memorabilia from 1964-1975.
