Description These are two brass plated "white metal" pins that are cast in the shape of elephants, one of which wears a pair of black plastic eyeglasses. There is a swivel pin with latch on reverse of each elephant.
Notes Barry Goldwater, a Republican Senator from Arizona, lost the 1964 general presidential election to Lyndon B. Johnson.The donor worked in the local presidential campaigns of Republican Nelson Rockefeller in 1964 and Democrat Eugene McCarthy in 1968 in Louisville.
