|Description||This is a Gayle #2 Simplicity Fishing Reel. It is made of stamped aluminum and is riveted together. It has one wooden handle attached to the spool. The gears are in the tailplate. The click switch is located on the tailplate. The foot is riveted to the bottom posts. The maker's mark is stamped on the head end of the spool.|
These reels were mass produced by the George W. Gayle Company (Clarence Gayle) in the 1930s.
