Description This is a slip formed redware pottery spittoon. It is made of white under-glaze with a black glazed lip. It has traces of red, blue, and black glazed decorative patterns. It has a black glazed interior.
Notes This spittoon is similar to examples found in archeological digs on the grounds of the Old State Capitol. This donor of this spittoon was the contract archaeologist for those digs.
