Description This is a mahogany pillar & scroll shelf clock. The case is missing the finials and pediment on the top. The reverse painted glass panel from the lower tablet is shattered and stored seperately. The piece has a wooden face that is painted white with black roman numerals and a floral design in pinks and gold around the edges. The piece has wooden works and a brass chime. Inside is a paper label that reads "PATENT CLOCKS,/ INVENTED BY/ ELI TERRY./ MADE AND SOLD AT PLYMOTH, CONNECTICUT,/ ELI & SAMUEL TERRY./ WARRENTED IF WELL USED."
