Description This white china plate has a floral pattern with two roses in the center and garlands on the edge. The rim has a teal colored trim and scalloped edge. On the back is the maker's mark "Imperial Crown China / Austria."
Notes The 'Imperial Crown China, Austria' backstamp was the pottery mark of Bawo and Dotter who decorated blanks at their studio in Fischern (which was then in a region known as Bohemia now called Ryb√°?e, Carlsbad in the Czech Republic). They then expotred the finished product. They had an office in New York and they also had a decorating plant in Limoges. They were founded about 1883 and went on until about 1914.
