Description This is a cheaply made baitcasting rod and reel with a turned wooden handle with a light clear finish. The grip has four incised lines. The reel seat is turned to smaller diameter and is flat on top. It has a simple stamped nickel plated raised pillar free spool brass reel, and a single unbalanced crank. Two zinc plated steel rings hold the foot of the reel to the seat. A simple zinc plated steel wire rod is wedged into the handle. There is a steel ferrule in the middle with tip section of a smaller diameter. Two steel snake guides are soldered to the rod, as is the angled steel tip guide. simple stamped nickel plated raised pillar free spool brass reel; wooden grip; rivet construction, #1 or smaller; single unbalanced crank.
