Description This political poster has a white background and is printed on thin cardboard. Across the top is a red banner with the word "Meet" printed in white text. Below this is a black and blue photographic image of Al Gore. This photograph has a thin blue frame. Three stripes run from the top left of the photograph, behind it, and out the bottom right side. The stripes are blue on the left and red on the right. The center stripe has three white stars on each side. A large blue banner under this has white text which reads "AL GORE / PRESIDENT / 88." In the bottom right corner of the poster is a union trademark.
Notes Al Gore, a Senator from Tennessee, was a candidate for the Democratic Presidential nomination in 1988 and 1992. He became Bill Clinton's running mate and was elected Vice President in 1992 and 1996.

This object was donated on November 14, 1988 by Drexell R. Davis. Davis, a self-described "Yellow Dog" Democrat, held several elected positions in the Kentucky state government. His thirty-three years of public service prompted his interest in collecting political memorabilia.
