Description This is a bust portrait of Landon Sneed. He has white hair and blue eyes. He is heavily wrinkled. He is wearing a dark grey coat, a white shirt, and a bluish gray vest. The shirt is open. The painting has a brown background. The painting is attributed to Chester Harding.
Notes Sneed, a pioneer settler, was born in 1770 died in 1847 and is buried in the Frankfort Cemetery. He was one of the pallbearers when the remains of Daniel Boone were reinterred in 1845.
