Description This is a oil on canvas bust portrait of Eliza Pepper Victor. She is wearing a black dress with button collar. She has her hair up, pulled tightly to the back with a center part. A large shell comb holds her hair. The background is in browns with a light patch to the left of Victor.
Notes Mrs. Thomas Boone Victor, maiden name Frances Pepper, was an early settler of Mason County, Kentucky. The painting was donated by her granddaughter, Amy S. Keene.
