Description This is a handmade wooden scoop shovel with a wooden handle and cross grip. The scoop is composed of a flat wooden pan with a curved fence on the top and has na iron sheet bent over the blade of the pan and nailed to it. There is a brass gauge riveted and nailed to middle of pan.
Notes A problematical. Possibly a handmade snow shovel?. Collected by the donor from antique stores, barns, etc. in southern Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky over the last thirty years.
