Beneath his name, it says "The Colored Champion of Freedom." The publisher's information is directly below: New York, Published by Currier & Ives 125 Nassau St. Centered at the bottom of the page is information from the place in which this print was likely sold. It reads, "All this class of Pictures, about 1000 are sold by J.S. Crowell, Louisville, Ky. Catalogues Free."
Notes Frederick Douglass was an American social reformer, writer, and statesman.
