Description This Rococo Revival arm chair is part of a fourteen piece parlor set. The wood trim of the chair is a veneered walnut with a rosewood stain. The pieces are curved and have carved floral embellishments. There arms are fluted on the hand rests and down the front legs. There is a floral medallion on the front of the seat frame. There are brass casters on the front legs. The back,seat and arm pads are upholstered in a reproduction rose damask fabric.
Notes This sofa is part of fourteen piece parlour set used at 'Liberty Hall' in Frankfort, Kentucky. It was originally purchased in New Orleans by the Brown family.
