Description This is a man's starched collar. It is made of white linen and is machine-stitched, with white cotton thread. There are three button-holes; two are located on the front tabs and one is located at the lower back of the neck. There are two triangular folds located at the front of the collar. The maker's mark is stamped (in black text) on the interior middle, reading: "Arrow - De LMXE/Cluett, Peabody & Co. Inc./U.S.A. 479." There are additional stamps, also in black text and located on the interior middle, that read: "PROM," "15 1/4," and "C-1295."
Notes This collar was worn by the donor's uncle, R. Quinn Cogar.
