Description This is a circular celluloid process political button for the pesidential campaign of Tom Harkin in 1992. The button has a white background with the green outline of the state of Washington in the center. There is red lettering inside the outline that reads " '92" and HARKIN/ FOR/ PRESIDENT". Across the top and bottom of the button there is green lettering that reads "The Primary Choice" and "For Working People". There is green lettering on the curled under edge that reads "FRIENDS OF SENATOR HARKIN" preceded by a green union printer's label. A safety pin closure is attached under the back edge of the button.
Notes Tom Harkin was a unsuccessful candidate for the 1992 Democratic presidential nomination.
