Description This jack plane has a beechwood stock with a rounded side and heel edges. There is a groove in the middle of each vertical edge. There is a handle behind the bed and it has a standard iron under wedge.
Notes A jack plane was the most commonly used bench plane, used to quickly remove rough stock. Collected by the donor from antique stores, barns, etc. in southern Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky over the last thirty years.
