Description This is a heavily seeded,(many suspended bubbles), mold blown medicine bottle with pontil scar and applied lip. It is embossed "G. W. Merchant/Chemist/Lockport, N. Y."
Notes G. W. Merchant was in business in Lockport, New York from 1833 until the factory burned in 1928. Gargling oil was Merchant's best seller, but the bottle may have contained another product.
