The box is royal blue, navy, and gray with text that advertises the contents. The label reads "ASEPTO/ Certified/ FEVER/ THERMOMETER/ MANUFACTURED BY BECTION, DICKINSON & CO. RUTHERFORD, N.J.."
|Notes||Used by Dr. William H. Gibson, grandfather of donor. Gibson graduated from University of Louisville Medical School in 1907. He returned home to Lerose in Owsley County to practise, later moving to Booneville in the 1920s. Gibson also owned a farm and was president of Farmers State Bank from 1931-1953.|
