This is a set of rat tooth forceps. The forceps have a grip on each arm and teeth etched into the end. There is a mark on the inside of the arm that is an intertwined "MS."
|Notes||Used by Dr. William H. Gibson, grandfather of donor. Gibson graduated from University of Louisville Medical School in 1907. He returned home to Lerose in Owsley County to practise, later moving to Booneville in the 1920s. Gibson also owned a farm and was president of Farmers State Bank from 1931-1953.|
