Description This is a tulip patterned quilt. The blocks of red tulips and the green calico print stems are made of diamonds and triangles alternating with solid blocks. There are nine rows and seven columns of nine inch quilt blocks. The quilt is hand pieced and hand stitched. There is diamond pattern stitching in the solid blocks and outline stitching in the tulip blocks. There are pink, white, and green one inch bands around the edges and the quilt has a brown binding. There is no batting in the quilt. The backing is plain white cotton.
