Description This carpet bag is made of a single piece of wool carpeting stitched together at the sides. The piece has a top front closure that is made from the carpet being folded over the top of the piece over the front of the bag. The piece has a three button closure with turned and polished bone buttons. The interior lining is linen. The carpeting is mostly brown in color with interwoven patterns of leaves and floral imagery. The shoulder strap is made of cotton or linen and is two straps sewn to the top edges of the piece and then tied together.
