Description This is a lithograph of the Lincoln family seated at a table with a tablecloth on it. There is a vase with flowers on it in the middle of the table.. There is geometric patterned carpet on the floor. On the left hand side of the image Mary Todd Lincoln is seated in a round-backed upholstered chair. Her hair is parted in the middle and pulled back into a bun. She is wearing a floral (?) headband, drop earrings and a brooch at the neckline of her dress. She is wearing a dark dress with a white collar and white undersleeves. The sleeves of the dress have a braid along the hem and up the middle of the sleeve. Next to her is Robert Lincoln. He is dress in a Union uniform. The top button is buttoned but the next five buttons are not--revealing a white shirt. His hair is parted on the proper left side and swept back. His right hand is resting on a book that is lying on the table. Next to Robert is Tad Lincoln. He is looking down at the a book that Abraham Lincoln is holding in his lap. Tad is wearing a dark suit and has a striped cravat on. There is a white handkerchief in the proper left breast pocket and there is a watch chain and fob running from the pocket to the opening in his jacket. His hair is parted on the proper right and swept back. President Lincoln is sitting in a rounded back upholstered chair. He is wearing wire-rimmed glasses and is looking down at the book in his lap. He is wearing a dark suit and white shirt with a dark tie. His right leg is crossed over his left leg. His left hand is holding up a page of the book. Mary Todd Lincoln and Robert are looking toward President Lincoln.
