Description This is a stamped tinplate label tab button with a folding tab on top with punched spur. It was printed by the lithographic process and has a white background with "ROCKEFELLAR" in blue letters. Around the tab, there is maker's information that reads, "COLUMBIA ADVERTISING CO. RICHMOND HILL NY" with a blue printer's label printed in the center of the tab.
Notes Nelson Rockefeller, Governor of New York, was an unsuccessful candidate for the 1964 and 1968 Republican presidential nominations. The donor worked in the local presidential campaigns of Rockefeller in 1964 and Democrat Eugene McCarthy in 1968 in Louisville.
