Description This bust portrait of Governor Metcalfe shows him with long white hair. He is wearing a black coat, vest and "bow" tie. He is also wearing a white high collared shirt. There is a cane shown coming out from the bottom of the painting on the subject's right side. There is a reddish-brown curtain-like background.
Notes Thomas Metcalfe was governor of Kentucky from 1828 to 1832.
