Description This is a circular celluloid-type button with a straight pin enclosure. It has a white background with black text. The text "HUMPHREY/MUSKIE" surrounds black and white photos of Hubert Humphrey and Edmund Muskie.
Notes Hubert Humphrey, Senator from Minnesota, was the Democratic presidential nominee in 1968. He lost a close election to former Vice Pres. Richard Nixon. The donor worked in the local presidential campaigns of Republican Nelson Rockefeller in 1964 and Democrat Eugene McCarthy in 1968 in Louisville.
