Description This is a flx hatchel. It has a cherry board withhand saw marks beneath. There are 33 spikes driven through the board. The spikes are square in section and taper to a point. They are arranged in rows 7-6-7-6-7. There is a heavy coat of varnish on the margins of the board and outer spikes suggesting that this used to be much rougher. There are four holes drilled in the margins of the board.
Notes Collected by the donor over the last thirty years from barns, storage sheds, and antique stores in north central Kentucky, southern Indiana, and southern Ohio.
