Description This is a sandstone rock that has multiple carvings. There is a partial hole drilled on the top left proper side and a square hole mortised into the center of the bottom. Among the many cut marks the top has a rectangle carved across the face. Inside the rectangle "D.B. 1776" is carved.
Notes The old card for this stone reads, "Stone with initials of Daniel Boone 1776 found in a field near Blue Licks, Kentucky."
