Description This is a piece of cloth used for the bottom of the "wooden stirrer" in an apple butter kettle. It is made of white broadcloth cotton, cut in a narrow rectangular shape. It is un-hemmed, with no additional maker's marks or inscriptions. It has been folded and creased, resulting in 16 identical panels.
