Description This is a child's pink cotton skirt and bodice. The bodice (a) has long sleeves, a high round neck, and a half circle shaped hem that is high at the side seams and low in center front and back. The back is open to the hem with seven shell buttons (one mismatched). There is white trim in a loop pattern along the hem, on the sleeves and around the neck. The trim goes around white patches of cotton eyelet embroidery. There is white eyelet embroidered lace along the hem, cuffs, and neck. The skirt (b) is full and short with a wide hem. It has been altered at the waist to make it smaller. It has several pleats on the sides and back with a panel in the front. There is white trim around eyelet embroidered lace patches along the hemline. The back is open in the center about three inches down with one shell button at the waist.
