Description This is a sterling silver tray that is a companion piece to pitcher (1923.36.1). The tray is round and has engraved flowers and vines. There is a cast grapevine design around the edge.
Notes This pitcher was presented to Dr. Luke P. Blackburn in 1854 by the citizens of Adams County, Mississippi. He was being recognized for his work during the yellow fever epidemic. Blackburn was governor of Kentucky between 1879-1883.
