Description This is a turned wooden handled paint scraper with four incised lines at the base. It has a narrow throat, at the top of which is an octagonal mount cut at a forty-five degree angle with a square sheet of iron bolted through it. Two washers and a nut secure the sheet iron to the top.
Notes Collected by the donor over the last thirty years from barns, storage sheds, and antique stores in north central Kentucky and probably southern Indiana and Ohio as well.
