Description This is a round lithograph political button for the presidential campaign of Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale in 1976. The button has evenly divided horizontal stripes of hunter green and white backgrounds. On the upper white stripe is "CARTER" in black, on the middle green stripe is "1976" with white stars on either side and on the lower white stripe is "MONDALE" in black. Around the edge is printed "(copyright symbol) A.G. Trimble Co, PGH. (Pittsburgh), PA.15222" followed by the union made logo. The button is lithographed with a stick pin back.
Notes Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale were the 1976 Democratic nominees for President and Vice-President. They Won.
