Description This is a wood framed hand crank drill press. It has a wooden base with rivet hinges holding the drill apparatus upright. There are double crank arms on either side of cast iron gears which drive drill the bit. The drill apparatus slides vertically on rack and pinion gear, and angles from 120 degrees to 20 degrees. There is a catch at the top of the frame which secures the drill. It has a spiral auger bit.
