Description This is a bumber sticker from the 1968 Presidential campaign of George Wallace. The sticker is rectangular in shape with a blue background and orange lettering. The name "WALLACE" is printed in orange block letters and there is a small union label in the lower right corner that is also printed in orange. The back of the sticker is lined with brown paper that is split in the middle for easy removal.
Notes George Wallace, Governor of Alabama, ran for president as an independent following his failure in 1968 to receive the Democratic nomination. He finished a strong but distant third. The donor worked in the local presidential campaigns of Nelson Rockefeller and Eugene McCarthy in Louisville.
