Description This is a circular political button, produced by lithographic process. It has a light green background and reads, "Lindsay,/Perrotta,/Garelik." in white script. The side reads, "Think Ideas, Inc. N.Y.C.". It has a stickpin on the reverse side.
Notes In 1969, New York City mayor, John Lindsay, lost the Republican mayoral primary in an upset to State Senator John Marchi. Lindsay's running mates were Finance Administrator Fioravante Perrotta, who won the GOP primary for Controller, and former police Chief Inspector Sanford Garelik, who won the Republican nomination for City Council President.

The donor worked in the local presidential campaigns of Republican Nelson Rockefeller in 1964 and Democrat Eugene McCarthy in 1968 in Louisville.
