Description This grooving plane has a beechwood stock with a shoulder on the left. The top and heel edges are chamfered. There is a left hand fence on the bottom and a steel plate with curved shavings aperature secured by hand slotted screws through side. There is a narrow steel blade with standard wedge.
Notes Used to cut a groove as part of a tongue and groove joint. Collected by the donor from antique stores, barns, etc. in southern Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky over the last thirty years.
