Description This is a screw tap and block. It is made of a two-piece block held together with wood screws, secured with square wooden nuts. There is a hole bored through the block. It is smooth in one piece and threaded in the other. There is a v-shaped cutter secured into the beginning of the threaded part with a slot for shavings. It has a wrought iron tap with a turned wooden handle. There are three inscribed lines around the block and seventeen lines around the handle of the tap.
Notes Used to cut wooden screws and tap threaded holes to hold the screw.
