Description This is a circular political button, produced by lithographic process, for Nelson Rockefeller during his 1964 presidential campaign. It has a blue background and the slogan, "Rocky!" in white script. The side reads, "Empress Specialty Co. N.Y. 10, N.Y.". It has a stickpin on the reverse side.
Notes Nelson Rockefeller, Governor of New York, was an unsuccessful candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in 1964 and 1968. The donor worked in the local presidential campaigns of Rockefeller in 1964 and Democrat Eugene McCarthy in 1968 in Louisville.
