Description This is a white cotton twill counterpane or bedspread with white cut pile embroidery arranged in various floral patterns. This is one half of a bedspread. The fabric is comprised of three long pieces of cotton. Two of the edges are trimmed with a 1.25" wide lace weave trim that is woven in a leno weave variaion. The two other edges of the piece are hemmed with hand stitches. The floral patterns resemble pansies and daisies with a four petal swirl design.
