Description This is a circular celluloid process Teamsters button. The button has a light blue and peach background with two horse symbol of the teamsters union. The logo has small letters that reads, "I.B. OF T.C.W. & H OF A.," which stands for International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen and Helpers of America. The button has the words "TRUCK DRIVERS" printed along the top against the blue background. The number 89 is printed above the Teamsters logo. The date "1969 / AUG" is printed at the bottom of the button. There are two union labels also printed on the front of the button (one label on each side of the Teamsters logo). The button has a stickpin with integral loop catch on the back. The maker's name is printed along the back edge of the button: ""BASTIAN BROS. ROCHESTER NY".
Notes The donor worked in the local presidential campaigns of Nelson Rockefeller and Eugene McCarthy in Louisville. He collected political campaign memorabilia from 1964-1975.
