Description This desk from the Kentucky House of Representatives is of Gothic Revival style. It is a rectangular shape with two drawers and a shelf below. It is a stained oak with a green leather top. The legs are a lyre-like shape with Gothic details. The left hand drawer has a stamp of the maker's mark. The right hand drawer has the maker's mark as well as two signatures.
Notes This desk, given by Mary C. Cantrill, was used in the House of Representatives in the Old State Capitol in the mid-19th century.
