Description This is a wire food grater. There is a "U" with ends of arms bent outward on top and a tinplate sheet wrapped around arms of "U" below the ends. The sheet stamped with triangular holes, and the top and bottom of sheet areolded over.
Notes The University of Kentucky began collecting in 1957 for the Kentucky Life Museum, an endeavor to "provide a permanent place for the hundreds of articles that have had a bearing upon the way people in Kentucky lived and worked..." Eventually, Waveland entered the Kentucky State Park System and was reinterpreted as a house museum. These artifacts were transfered as part of that reinterpretation.
