Description This is a double handed cross cut saw. The handles sit above the blade on either side.
Notes Collected by former staff at Eastern State Hospital for a planned museum, 1956-69. Eastern was opened in 1824 as the state "Lunatic Asylum." The collection documented the lives of patients as sick persons and as wards of the state forced to earn their keep.
