Description This is an oak secretary or desk. There is a bookshelf with a glass door on the left. There is a mirror over a fold-down writing desk on the right side. There are three drawers below the desk. The secretary is on castors that were added or replaced by the donor in the 1970s. It has a decorated piece that sits on the top.
Notes This secretary is from the Allensville, Kentucky home of Ida and Thomas Pepper. Ida Hirshfeld Pepper was married to Thomas Pepper, of Allensville in Todd County, founder and president of the Bank of Allensville.
